Some call me Gypsy... and that's the way I like it.

I'm a student, an art lover, an amatuer writer, a 1st dan martial artist, a thinker, a bit rash, a snuggler, an animal lover, slightly rebellious, and I'm here: here to share my form of artwork and to relate with my fellow deviants. I wanted to introduce myself to you, and let you in on the current events in my world.

I'm finishing out my Honors AA degree this summer (only 11 credits left to go!) before I transfer to a major state university. I'm really looking forward to it... and as expected the nerves come with the anticipation. I'll be moving out of the nest in July, so tensions are as lofty as Shakespeare's vocabulary and funds are as low as any starving artist's... but I'm keeping my chin up and a smile on. I'm lucky to have my health, my (somewhat) sane mind, a wonderful boyfriend and amazing friends, and even if we are at odds a family who has been there for me through the years. Hopefully soon I'll be adding a dog to the family. ^_^

Times are rough for everyone, but I look at it as simply a test of character. When the smoke clears some will rise above the rubble and stand with soot-smeared faces smiling in the face of fate after overcoming the odds. I want to be one of those people... standing on top of a mountain of term papers and thesis projects, crappy paychecks and scrapped poetry, feeling the sunshine again.

For my parting words: Never let anyone or anything cause you to loose your creativity. Stay true to yourself, stay original, and stay hopeful. Time will always tell in the end.
